RULES & REGULATIONS OF PET IMPORT & EXPORT TO SINGAPORE
It is
relatively easy but costly & all animals will be Quarantine for a period of 4 weeks upon arrival. Dogs & cats from
Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom & Ireland are Exempted from Quarantine. From Sept 2004, All Imported Dogs & Cats must be identified with an ISO Microchip.
Dogs / Cats without or with unreadable Microchips may be deported or detained for any necessary action. Like humans, Animals
need a visa to travel in & out of country. It is very hard for some breed to get used to the climate. Check the Rules & regulations of Pet Ownerships to know
before you import / export an animal.

PET IMPORT PROCEDURES

Certificate
of health by government or private vet from country of export dated not
earlier than 7 days from day of export stating:"the pet is healthy and free from any
contagious or infectious disease at the time of inspection"

Fee
S$ 50 per animal
·
All
dogs and cats need to be detick/deflea and deworm prior to their quarantine in
JAQS.

Vaccinations
- 2 weeks before but less than 1 year
prior to entry. For Dogs : -
